Become a Facilitator

If you would like to become a support group facilitator, Family Light would love to help you achieve your goals! We support anyone with desire to facilitate in getting their training and launching their group.

Step 1:Fill out our volunteer application HERE.

On this application you will be able to apply for either a volunteer position directly with Family Light (which requires your agreement to abide by and follow our core mission and vision), or to get support in establishing a group outside of Family Light.

Step 2: Complete the Facilitator Training through Circle of Parents HERE.

This is a two part training. Follow the link and complete the interest form. Within a day or so you will receive an email with information to set up your profile and gain access to your training videos. Completion of the videos can be done at your own pace but only takes a couple hours in accumulative total. Once you have completed the video training requirements, you will receive an email with the date and link of your two hour virtual training meeting. (background check conducted at conclusion).​

Step 3: Once you have completed your training with FamilyWise Services and have received an approved background check confirmation, send a copy of that confirmation to Family Light via email at familylightconnect@gmail.com. We will contact you to set up your in house training with Family Light and walk you through next steps, supporting you in launching your group or step into your other volunteer position. ​
